David Mazouz Wants To Play Batman On The Big Screen

Article by Steve J. Ray

Having met and interviewed David Mazouz I can honestly say that he’s a very talented actor, and a great person too. I’m fortunate enough to review Gotham every week, and have always maintained that David would make an incredible Batman. I’ve even gone on record saying that I’d love to see him and co-star Camren Bicondova reprise their Gotham roles on the big screen.
It seems that Mr. Mazouz would like that too.
In a recent interview with Cinema Blend David expressed his interest in playing Bruce Wayne/Batman in movies, as long as he gets a few years prep time. Could he be any more Batman? For years fans have claimed that there’s no foe that the Dark Knight couldn’t take down with prep. It seems that Mr. Mazouz also believes in being battle ready.
Oh, absolutely, I think I would need to be a little bit older, a little bit taller.
Fans already know that the final instalment of Gotham, it’s landmark 100th episode, will jump into the future. We’ve been promised that we will see the Batman, and that Mazouz will be the man in the cape and cowl, albeit aided by cinematic wizardry. As a huge fan of the actor, and the show, this has me very excited.
