For those who may not know, The O2 are running ‘The DC Exhibition: Dawn Of Superheroes.’ This incredible event plays host to hundreds of pieces of comics art, costumes and props from the 80 year history of DC Comics. This amazing show runs throughout Spring and Summer, all the way to September.
To celebrate Super Hero Day, this coming Saturday 28th April, anyone arriving at the event in costume will make huge savings!

The DC Exhibition: Dawn of Super Heroes celebrates DC’s rich history: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Joker. Embrace your inner super hero at this spectacular exhibition which features more than 200 original comic pages, 300 preparatory sketches and concept art for the cinema. See 45 original costumes, models and props used in the iconic films. The exhibition is presented by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Consumer Products in collaboration with Art Ludique-Le Musée. DC Exhibition: Dawn of Super Heroes highlights include:
Exclusive artwork from the highly-acclaimed Wonder Woman, directed by Patty Jenkins. See Gal Gadot’s original Wonder Woman costume.
Costumes and props from films such as; 1989 to 1999’s Batman franchise directed by Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher, and the acclaimed The Dark Knight trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan. The Man of SteelBatman V Superman and the recent Justice League by Zack Snyder. Costumes include Heath Ledger’s 2008 Joker costume and Henry Cavill’s 2013 Superman costume.

The exhibition showcases almost a century of artistic creations. The Superhero genre was imagined by two teenagers from Cleveland, Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, the creators of Superman. The Man Of Steel was first introduced in Action Comics #1 in 1938. The world’s first Super Hero, quickly revolutionised the medium, influencing art, literature, fashion, TV and film.
Action Comics recently celebrated their 80th year, and 1000th issue!
