Harley Quinn To End With Issue #75

Article by Steve J. Ray

BREAKING NEWS! Writer Sam Humphries has gone online to confirm that Harley Quinn #75 will be the final issue of the series. Personally I’m a huge fan of the work that Humphries has been doing on the title, so am extremely sad to see him go.
It’s not all doom and gloom however, as this particular gray cloud does have a silver lining.
Here’s Humphries’ Tweet in full:
Hey y'all, I'm hammer-smashing the embargo to break the news that HARLEY QUINN is OVER with issue 75! FINAL ISSUE! No worries and no tears, this has been the plan for almost a year, and we're celebrating with one Harley's biggest issues OF ALL TIME! (cover by @GuillemMarch) 🖤♦️

Here’s the entire thread, which breaks the bad news, but also sets Harley’s fans fears to rest:

This is a happy ending for all — I’m moving on to some very cool secret projects (no hints) and Harley is moving on to one of my favorite creators AND people (no hints). Perfect occasion for a new number one.
And I’m absolutely thrilled about where Harley is headed.
Burying the lead dept: HARLEY QUINN issue #75 is extra big and highly blessed by OUTSTANDING artists:
Sami Basri, Nicola Scott, Francis Manapul, Ramon Villalobos, Ngozi, Joe Quinones, and Riley Rossmo.
I’m passing away at this lineup ⚱️ Harley #75 is thriving over here!!!
Big sappy goodbyes another day. Thanks to DC for letting me tell ya first.
RECAP: Harley #75 is the final issue (for now), Harley #75 is my goodbye issue, Harley #75 is popping with stellar artists, watch DC DAILY every day, The Cure still rules, stay home, wear a mask, LOVE Y’ALL.
Oh, you know who else is in HARLEY QUINN issue 75?
Poison Ivy. 🖤♦️
So, as you can see, while Sam Humphries’ voice will be missed on this title, this isn’t the end for Harley, or her friends.
Everyone here at Dark Knight News wishes Sam all the very best, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
