Gamer Talk - A Preview of 'The Hostile Takeover'

As I briefly stated in a my last post, The Fantastic Universes Podcast is back, and back with a vengeance. The year 2020 has done many strange things to our hearts and minds. We here at Fantastic Universes have the consistent mission to talk with love about everything you could ever be a fan of. This is another way to talk to you fine readers, so we will.

Wayward Rewatch is the fun loving recap of the now concluded TV omnibus that is Supernatural. 2021 seeks to be a big year for us here at Fantastic Universes. It's here that I can announce a podcast featuring voices from across the Fantastic Universes family will be coming to the airways soon. We'll be living The Life Fantastic very soon. 

I myself am at the helm of an enormous project that spans multiple nations and creative minds the world over. I won't say much more about that.

The Hostile Atmosphere Takes Over

It's no secret anymore that I and some friends have started a grand adventure across Youtube. The Hostile Atmosphere has a growing library featuring Magic the Gathering Arena, Legends of Runeterra, Fall Guys, Among Us, and our origins: Dead by Daylight. 

The survival horror classic has been around since 2016. The game plays like a classic 80's slasher movie every single time. Four survivors are in an enclosed map; they need to repair generators to fix a large door and escape the bloodthirsty, often supernatural, killer coming to put them on hooks to offer to the entity.

With numerous survivors to play as, killers to play as, and maps all procedurally generated, and these generators could be anywhere. The unique powers of the characters make the replay value immense, and the level progressions keep games competitive.

The Talking Game

Being so knowledgeable in games now, and my endless need to talk has brought me here. In days past, Adam's Dragon Cave has talked about Magic cards for sets long passed. This podcast formula is coming back with a big twist. I seek to bring a dear friend into the fold every few weeks to talk about a game they know about, but more importantly, a game they love. Just to chat about why it's good and what they love about it.

Dead by Daylight will be the first talk of the new series of the Fantastic Universes podcast. The Hostile Takeover is me and some friends talking games that they love.
