A Way Out of the Dark - Alan Wake 2 Officially Announced

We've received that Alan Wake 2 is coming to multiple platforms in 2023.

The Annual Gaming Awards are always an exciting date on my calendar. I'm ready to reap the rewards of the free Primogems coming thanks to Genshin Impact winning best mobile game. Just in time for Arataki Itto.

The bigger news for me personally from that night came from Sam Lake of Remedy Games. Alan Wake 2 is officially coming! Watch the preview trailer and his comments on the game with the host right here.


The tone of the trailer matches what they said perfectly. We're getting something very different from our writer protagonist and from Remedy Games as a whole. We remember the first Alan Wake being the narratively rich action adventure, with an intense challenge curve and the most satisfying moment of shooting down shadowy entities while retro glam rock played behind us.

We can expect a much more gritty, horror survival experience from this game. I personally have next to no experience in this genre and I am excited to see how they branch out into it.

We can expect another set of announcements from the dark of Cauldron Lake about this game some time in Summer 2022, but for now we can expect to play Alan Wake 2 on Epic Games, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Fantastic Universes Interview: Madison, Matthew and Macsen Lintz From 'The Walking Dead'

I've spoken to some amazing people over the last couple of years; writers, artists, costume designers, and actors from some of my favorite TV shows. It's no secret that I'm a huge comic-book fan, and one of the TV series that's based on and inspired by a comics title - but has gone on to be so much more - is The Walking Dead . At a recent Comic-Con in London, I had the great opportunity of leading a panel where some fellow journalists and I spoke with Madison, Matthew and Macsen Lintz, three siblings who played Sophia and both iterations of Henry on the show.
